Interview with Darron DeBoer

Darron is a farm kid that relocated to Johnson County to pursue a career. Darron is a Professional Geologist by training and has worked for a private environmental consulting firm for 12 year. Currently Darron manages projects focusing on the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, primarily in the railroad and manufacturing sectors.

In his “free” time, Darron tries to find as many reasons as possible to leave Johnson County, including competitive shooting, hunting, and just wandering around the family farm. Darron is a factory sponsored shooter for Bergara North America and Athlon Optics, and tries to introduce as many people as possible to competitive shooting and the 2A community in general. Darron is also a (very amateur) YouTube creator producing videos focused on his various interests. Of all his various accomplishments, Darron is most proud of being the former neighbor of Mr. Melton :).
