Was George Orwell an author of science fiction, or was he a prophet? It is growing ever more difficult to distinguish which of those he was because right now the world is under assault by elitist scumbags who are hell bent on imposing tyranny on the entire world's population. There's nothing that is out of bounds to these modern day villains, and it seems that the more messed up it appears to most, the more they enjoy imposing it on the masses.
