Making Time

This song started as a wholesome finger picking session on my acoustic guitar. The line here was recorded on my cell phone in 2019. I wrote the lyrics a week later and worked with it for a few months in my spare time then put it away.

Now, in December of 2021 I have laid down vocals and drums. This is one of those songs I loved, but put away for a while as I focused on other songs and things; I always knew I would come back to finish it.

It was inspired by personal events of my childhood, embellished with how I think they might have rolled out otherwise, had I lived on a farm or somewhere rural, riding horses and taking chances with personal loyalty.
