20211224 Why Black Markets? - The Daily Summation

It may be hard to believe, but I would bet most CITIES have black markets for various things (even in supposedly generally "free market economies").

Are they good? Are they bad?

I would expect that's something that can't be answered definitively.

That is to say, "Some are good, some are bad, MOST are a 'mix' of good and bad."

It's certainly the case, that some such markets (for example, those trafficking in human beings), should GO AWAY.

Others? Well, the answer isn't so easy.

Tune in for my discussion of the idea of black markets on this Christmas Eve edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and politics, for more detail.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
