Rocky Patel Special Reserve Sun Grown Maduro Lancero Cigar Review

This 7.5x38 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed oily butter smooth wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, pigtail cap and a peppery cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with decent medium bodied smoke output showing a fairly plain slightly sweet straight tobacco, light earth and hint of pepper. The 1st third burns quickly dropping very short ash with flavors going to a sweet smooth cocoa with a nice pepper added in both the draw and finish but balanced very well. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with flavors shifting to a syrupy sweet cinnamon and caramel keeping the bit of pepper texture. Ending at just over an hour it got plugged with no further changes.
