On this episode of Pilsners & Politics, Benji and Vinny hosted Jake Berube, who is the chairman of LP NOVA.

Despite the fact that this show is undoubtedly conservative in nature, both Benji and Vinny have often solicited for those with opposing/contrasting viewpoints to come on the show to provide a more balanced perspective; allowing our listeners to freely think for themselves and consider a different stance on particular issues. The trouble is, nobody ever takes Benji and Vinny up on their offer, that was until Jake connected with the show. For all you libertarians, independents and liberals out there who are reading this, consider it your open invitation to come on the show!

Make no mistake about it, Jake identifies as a libertarian but the listeners of this show may find that they have more in common with him than they think. Jake does a great job of explaining the theoretical approach to the libertarian party, touching on earlier teachings of Thomas Paine and John Locke, and further explained what a libertarian stands for. Jakes perspective and insight provides our listeners with a deeper understanding of the party and maybe a new home for those that have felt abandoned by the lame duck republican establishment.

It's no surprise that more voters, especially those with a conservative undertone, are associating more with libertarians and independents than we've seen in the past. If you are a a left of center democrat, middle of the road conservative or full blown MAGA supporter, tune in and listen to what Jake has to say!
