LeBron James did all he could, as he put up a stat line of 36 points

It is clear that LeBron James did all he could, as he put up a stat line of 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Russell Westbrook also made great contributions, with 30 points and 7 rebounds. But their performances weren't enough for the Anthony Davis-less Lakers to overcome the Spurs, who were led by Keita Bates-Diop's 30 points off the bench.
Lakers fans were clearly unhappy with the loss, and many of them blasted the team after the loss. The loss to the Spurs marks the 4th straight lost game by the Los Angeles Lakers. This blowout loss also marks the end of the arena being named Staples Center.
