23.12.21 Teacher Damiano Pieroni

I talk to 55 year old Damiano Pieroni about why he decided to take early retirement in 2021. He has been a secondary school teacher for 32 years.
He is selling his house near Milton Keynes and relocating to the north of England in order to save money due to the low pension he will get from leaving early.
After seeing children suffer over the last 21 months he says he had already made up his mind to leave if the school allowed the vaccination of children against covid at his school.
He would rather leave on a lower pension and relocate his family than continue working at a school that continues to support policies that result in children suffering.
