Fauci on Pfizer's new highly profitable antiviral pill Paxlovid. Note double standards with HCQ.

Note how Fauci says that Paxlovid might significantly reduce hospitalization and death up to 90% IF USED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DISEASE ONSET. Now think back to about 18 months ago, when the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) was restricted only for hospitalized patients and research purposes because 'science'.

Preliminary 'research' had shown HCQ did not work in these patients and was even harmful, because...
1. deadly doses were administered. The doses used were more appropriate for a fat elephant than for humans.
2. fraudulent research was published which supposedly showed that HCQ did not work and was harmful. This research was later retracted, but by then the reputational damage had been done. Fauci even used the fraudulent studies to prohibit further research AFTER the research had already been retracted. For more information, search for 'Lancetgate' and research about the fraudulent HCQ paper in the New England Journal of Medicine.
3. the medicine was only administered after patients were already ill for at least 3 weeks, which is way too late. Antiviral medicines should be administered within 5 days of disease onset. With any disease, early treatment is key. The longer you wait, the harder the disease is to treat and the less chance of survival. Purely antiviral medicines are unlikely to have any benefit if a patient is already hospitalized and even less benefit if they're already in the intensive care unit.
4. it was not combined with zinc. An important mechanism of action of HCQ, is to transport zinc into cells, where it can prevent viral replication. Zinc is comparable to a bullet, where HCQ is the gun. They work best in combination. One without the other is much less effective.

When HCQ was 'shown' to be 'unsafe' and 'ineffective', the authorities prohibited its use to ONLY hospitalized patients and research purposes. Said differently, they prohibited its use to ONLY situations where the drug could only be mildly effective or ineffective. They framed their decision as beneficial to public health. They said that 'science' had proven the drug to be ineffective and unsafe, not mentioning that of course dosing, timing and combination with other drugs/supplements could or would make a world of difference.

Another argument they (mis)used was that HCQ is an essential drug for auto-immune disease, and that using it for COVID might mean there's too little supply left for auto-immune patients. They neglected to say that they had an enormous national stockpile and that it is extremely easy to quickly ramp up production enormously.

Fauci and others knew exactly what they were doing. They are experienced and competent professional hitmen and public manipulators. They were sabotaging all early treatment, so they could earn countless billions with their highly profitable experimental injections and toxic ineffective drugs such as remdesivir. They don't care if millions' of people's health and lives are badly harmed. They only care about their money, power, status, accolades, etc. Public health is irrelevant to them.

Nobody is going to opt for a highly expensive, toxic. ineffective, experimental drugs when they can also have a cheap, safe, effective, repurposed drug. By law, there cannot even be an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) if there is safe and effective prophylaxis and/or early treatment. So if Big Pharma want to get their billions of dollars, they have to 'kill' all competitors, which they did quite successfully with the help of corrupt politicians, media, and Big Tech.
