Recorded on 9/7/21. Featuring Garden State Railfan & Central Jersey Railfan 104. I finally was able to organize another railfanning trip with Adam (Garden State Railfan). I met with him and his friend Mason (Central Jersey Railfan) up in Brewster and we basically did a lot of station hoping along the Wassaic Branch. We were the second group to do this and THIS is how you do a full and complete railfanning trip on the Wassaic Branch. It does require a lot of driving. GallardoFreak888 and his friends were the first to do a railfanning video like this on this line back in 2013 except we started on electrified territory. Great video to check out by the way. We started off in Brewster to try to catch some M3's since Adam wanted to try to catch some of those trains. We did make a pitstop in Southeast and then it was all station hoping from there on. We finally got to see the return of the nonstop service from Grand Central Terminal to Wassaic! This was the main reason me and Adam wanted to do this trip since this service was suspended since March 2020. This past September the MTA brought back 2 out of the 4 Wassaic trains for the PM rush hour. The same concept applies for the AM rush hour as well. This was a great day and you do not want to miss out the action in this video. We put a lot of time and driving to make this video happen. Enjoy.
