🕊✨🤍 Oh Holy Night 🤍✨🕊
Singing one of my most favorite Christmas songs. It is what Christmas is all about for me.
Reflecting on what that night was like when Christ was born. I can imagine the major shift that took place at His birth. The world had to of felt it. The Savior of the world had come down to earth. He came to redeem man of the sinful nature that he was born into. No hope in sight for the complete forgiveness of sins before He was born. Man's heart finally was given hope of forgiveness and set free from the death that came with sin. It took the Son of God to come down in human form to live a life free of sin and be the purest sacrifice of all. Once and for all we could become free to live with Him and the Father and the Holy Spirit forever.
This night, this one Special night changed the world and man forever. I can't begin to imagine how those who witnessed this must have felt.
Thank You Father for sending your son to save us.
Song History :
"O Holy Night" (also known as "Cantique de Noël") is a well-known Christmas carol. Originally based on a French-language poem by poet Placide Cappeau, written in 1843, with the first line "Minuit, chrétiens! c'est l'heure solennelle"
