We had him on for his military experience as a veteran of the storming and occupation of Iraq, post 9-11. It was a great insight into what went on at the ground level, but also the mindset of those there. Also, we went into comparing those experiences with the current state of the military DEI trainings.
It was a good conversation that brings to life a lot of the major points we've been discussing over the last few months. Also, the humor level was kicked up a notch so that helps.
