The color of different species of hares can vary greatly, depending on the place and habitat. For example, in the northern snowy regions, the color of animals can be white, and in the steppe area it can vary from light brown to reddish brown. Some species even have a black coat. Moreover, these animals can change their color throughout the year. For example, in the snowy winter, many of the species, regardless of their true color, acquire a white coat. All this is necessary for them to disguise.
