You can compute the value of your birth certificate that will be returned to you when the Quantum Financial system is fully up and operational. Here is the specific link: https://www.treasurydirect.gov/BC/SBCPrice You are using the savings bond calculator to get this value and will have the choices EE Bonds,, I Bonds, E Bonds and Savings Notes (4 choices). Get your birth certificate and look for the "birth number" or "file number" and be aware that that number may include the last two digits of your birth year, which you will leave out (at least in my case). My birth number was 54 00313. What worked for me was just "313". I also found out if you are older than 1952, this calculator won't work - you'll have to get that done manually sometime when this is a common thing to do and the Quantum system is up and running. So, using my example, I used "E Bonds", put in the value of $10,000 as the denomination in the calculator, your birth or file number, and then your month and year of birth as they show: MM/YYYY. They suggest you use each bond type until one works. For me it was "E Bonds." My calculation came out to $7,500 for the value of the certificate and then $60,044 in interest. I can certainly use $67,544 down the road when these can be redeemed! I note they "matured" the calculation at 40 years - the "maturity date" was 01/1994. By the way, you'll see all kinds of statements on the treasury site hat if you think your birth certificate is worth something, you are being scammed and it is illegal to try and get value for it. That is a bullshit warning. Ignore it. Remember, there really is no Treasury department anymore - it is part of the bankrupted entity that was the USA, Inc.
