Location: Waterfall pool in Idaho
Bait: Wet fly
Rig: Tenkara

Another new location. I give Tenkara fishing a try for the second time ever. Tenkara is the ancient Japanese fishing technique used for creek and river fishing. It is like fly-fishing except for having no reel. Tenkara uses a rod, often a much longer rod than other fishing techniques, and a line with a fly. How does it do in this pool at the base of a waterfall? Watch and see.

Let me know what you think of the Tenkara style in the comments.
