Am Samstag versammelten sich zahlreiche Demonstranten in Den Haag, um gegen die Verschärfung der COVID-19-Beschränkungen zu protestieren. Die Proteste erfolgten, nachdem die niederländische Regierung beschlossen hatte, die derzeitigen Maßnahmen zu verschärfen und alle nicht lebensnotwendigen Geschäfte von Sonntag bis zum 14. Januar zu schließen. Die Schulen bleiben mindestens bis zum 9. Januar geschlossen. Angesichts dieser neuen Maßnahmen protestierten Gruppen von Demonstranten, umgeben von Polizeiwagen, im Bereich der Ministerien gegen das, was sie als Beschneidung ihrer Bürgerrechte betrachten. Fünfundachtzig Prozent der niederländischen Erwachsenen sind gegen COVID-19 geimpft, während weniger als 9 Prozent die Auffrischungsimpfung erhalten haben. A number of demonstrators gathered to protest the implementation of stricter COVID-19 restriction measures in The Hague on Saturday. Protests come after the Dutch government decided to bolster current measures and lock down all non-essential business from Sunday until January 14th. Schools will remain shut until at least January 9. In the face of these new measures, surrounded by police vans, groups of demonstrators protested in the area of the ministries against what they consider to be a curtailment of their rights as citizens. Eighty-five percent of the Dutch adult population is vaccinated against COVID-19 whilst less than 9 percent have received their booster shot. The nation recorded 14,616 new infections on Saturday.

Een aantal demonstranten is zaterdag in Den Haag bijeengekomen om te protesteren tegen de invoering van strengere beperkende maatregelen in het kader van COVID-19. De protesten kwamen nadat de Nederlandse regering had besloten de huidige maatregelen te verscherpen en alle niet-essentiële zaken vanaf zondag tot 14 januari te sluiten. Scholen zullen tot ten minste 9 januari gesloten blijven. Tegenover deze nieuwe maatregelen protesteerden groepen demonstranten, omringd door politiebusjes, in de buurt van de ministeries tegen wat zij beschouwen als een beknotting van hun rechten als burgers. Vijfentachtig procent van de Nederlandse volwassen bevolking is ingeënt tegen COVID-19, terwijl minder dan 9 procent een tweede vaccinatie heeft gekregen. Het land registreerde zaterdag 14.616 nieuwe besmettingen.

Quatre-vingt-cinq pour cent de la population adulte néerlandaise est vaccinée contre le COVID-19, tandis que moins de 9 % ont reçu leur injection de rappel. Le pays a enregistré 14 616 nouvelles infections samedi.

El 85% de la población adulta holandesa está vacunada contra el COVID-19, mientras que menos del 9% ha recibido la vacuna de refuerzo. El sábado se registraron 14.616 nuevos contagios en el país.
