Punch Gran Puro Nicaragua Robusto Cigar Review

This 5.5x54 stick features an almost jet black thick firmly packed toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing a sweet creamy light earth with a finish adding a pepper and musty tobacco. The first third burns perfectly with a razor sharp burn, smoothing the flavors but keeping the body and complexity. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the 2nd third burns a little quicker, dropping the ash in a 2" chunk with flavors going to a plain smooth deep earth all the way through the long full finish. Ending at 55 minutes the same earthiness lasted to the end with no changes.
