After activating the Darkwood Cullis Gate, The Hero of Oakvale finds a strange barrier that wasn't there before. The Hero's mother, Scarlet Robe, found a book that may help get the magical barrier down but before the Hero can get to her, Jack manages to capture her again.

From there, the Hero grabs the book and takes it to Weaver, the Guildmaster, so he can read the correct passage to take the barrier down.

Fable Anniversary is a rerelease of the first installment in the Fable series and is an HD remaster of Fable: The Lost Chapters. It was developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft Studios and is available on the Xbox 360 and PC (Steam download). Fable Anniversary can also be played on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Fable Anniversary was released on February 4th, 2014 in North America, February 6th, 2014 in Asia, February 7th, 2014 in Europe, and finally, it was released on September 12th, 2014 for PC.
