Turning a Cigar Box into a Family Heirloom | Saving my fingers from my wife's pins and needles

For Christmas, I decided to make my wife a gift that she didn't know she needed. My wife is the most amazing woman in the world, but she has a few quirks. One of those quirks is using sandwich bags for things other than sandwiches. Her "make-up bag" is a sandwich bag full of hair ties and chapstick, her "jewelry box" is a sandwich bag in a bowl on the counter, and her "sewing bag" is this sandwich bag full of needles that sticks me all the time when I reach into the drawer. So for the sake of my fingers, I turned a wood cigar box into an heirloom sewing box that hopefully my wife will use, and maybe our kids can keep so they don't suffer from bags of pins in the kitchen drawer.
