A quick guide on how to use solar power to keep your pond clean. In this video, I show how I use a timer to control our farm pond fountain and aerate the water using solar. I use a stand-alone 12V DC timer since the power inverter pulls too much power in order to run the manual timer.

We use a 500w inverter, 100W solar panel, Harbor Freight Charge Controller, and a 12V Deep Cycle Battery for our solar-powered pond fountain.
