The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its guidance Friday for students who had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, advising that they should be allowed to continue in-person classes if they regularly undergo tests, in a move designed to keep kids in school and prevent learning loss.
