Christ The Redeemer as one of the world famous statues, made of concrete and soapstone, built during the period 1922-1931 in Rio de Janeiro. The statue is located atop Mount Corcovado in the Tijuca Forest National Park, and today it is one of the prominent attractions in Brazil and South America.
