10 Signs America is falling:
A list of reasons America is no longer the superpower it once was and how this country is becoming weak.

The United States is no longer number one, America is weak and the country is falling. The U. S. of A has lost its superpower status and the country is being attacked from both within and without. America is falling and it won’t be long before it hits a point of no return. With that in mind, America is now falling as a superpower and how this country will soon be powerless. .

The US has the highest prison population in the world. .

America has one of the highest divorce rates in the world (since 1960). .

The US is ranked last in literacy among developed nations (OECD report). .

The average American watches over 4 hours of television a day. .

America is the largest debtor nation in the world, with $9,000,000,000 owed abroad (2008 figures). .

More people are jailed in the USA than any other country on earth (China has four times as many people but only 1/3rd as many prisoners). .

One out of every four Americans is taking prescription drugs for mental health issues (one out of every 10 adults takes anti-depressants). .

Since 1972 more than 40% of all US working men have been thrown into the "underclass" or poverty (in 1965, less than 10% were in poverty). .

Approximately 45 million Americans are living in poverty today and an estimated 100 million are either considered to be "low income" or impoverished (poverty rates have increased by 45% since 1996). .

America has lost over 42,400 factories since 2001 and millions upon millions of middle class jobs.

The U.S. is in decline and it will never be able to recover its former glory. While there are many reasons for this decay, ranging from a rapidly changing world order to the war on terror and the financial crisis, at the end of the day there’s little that can be done to reduce our national debt and low credit rating. The U.S., while still considered an economic powerhouse, has fallen behind Europe and other regions in the world, particularly China and India. While there are some who refuse to acknowledge this fact, anyone with a basic understanding of global economics realizes just how true these facts really are. The era of American supremacy has come to an end, despite what others may think, but that doesn’t mean that we have nothing to learn from this once great power..
