NYSRPA v. Bruen showdown! We cover themoments from each Supreme Court Justice, the Chief Justice, and our final predictions on the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen case. NYSRPA is suing the State of New York over the enforcement of the “may issues” handgun license scheme. NY has severe concealed carry restrictions and has denied licenses because “self-defense” does not show a “special need” that would warrant the issuance of a gun permit. NYSR&PA on behalf of firearm owners have responded by suing the state and seeking to have the law overturned because the right to keep and bear arms should allow for carrying firearms outside of the home. The Armed Attorneys break down the gun law imposed (*cough* infringements) on the “shall not be infringed” provisions of the Second Amendment. We anticipate a landmark decision is on the way.
