AN EPIC ENCOUNTER /Wildlife Up Close and Personal - Snowshoe Hare

I am still amazed as to why this Snowshoe hare in the wild allowed me to get within an arm's-length of it. I could see the vibration from its heart beat and the leery and fearful look in its big dark eyes. It stood still as I inched my way closer and closer, then our eyes locked and it was as if time stood still.
