Today we will look at the surprise rate hike from the Bank of England from 0.1% to 0.25% and why we do not think the Old Lady of Threadneedle street can commit to really fighting inflation how it should.

Our conclusion is that we could see a few more tiny rate hikes but nothing significant and the MPC actually pointed this out in its statement yesterday.
