At the September 11, 2021 quarterly SCGOP State Executive Committee Meeting in Columbia, GCGOP Chairman Jeff Davis reported the following two facts to the body.
1. Reported there is current a SC State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) investigation into former SCGOP Chairman and current Newberry County State Executive Committeeman, Chad Connelly, for embezzling $275,406 from the K-12 school choice program he use to head and was terminated from in August 2020 because of one Davis' and legal complaints.

2. He also reported that him and his wife had been interviewed at the SC Attorney General's Office by SLED as complainant and witnesses a few weeks earlier on August 13th, 2021.
Chad Connelly claimed that those two facts were LIES ... he said that Jeff Davis made these things up, that there is no SLED investigation, and that Olga and Jeff were not at the Attorney General's Office on August 13th.

After an obviously staged "circus" facilitated by SCGOP Chair Mr. McKissick where he allowed Mr. Connelly to present a 20 + minute PowerPoint ... with no opportunity given to respond to the wild accusations of Mr. Connelly ... a quick and obviously orchestrated motion and voice vote was had whereby, BECAUSE DAVIS MADE THE TWO STATEMENTS ABOVE about Mr. Connelly, which Connelly said were lies, and a bunch of other personal attacks, Jeff Davis as Chairman of the Greenville County Republican Party is "banned" from all future quarterly SCGOP Executive Committee Meetings in Columbia.

Sure enough, the following week SLED confirmed there WAS an investigation into Chad Connelly.
