The World They Gave You is a Lie [a message for my fellow millennials]

The world that we have been given is little more than a big lie. Even if you have a job, it is probably difficult to keep your head above water. Is this a failure of free market capitalism? Or have we been lied to?

It seems that posts about the failure of free market capitalism are everywhere on the internet these days. The 1% are now telling all of us that the current system has been unfair to those of in the lower classes. What they aren't telling you is that you have never lived in a free market system. The system that has failed us is a Frankenstein socialist/fascist system. Virtually every regulation they pass is designed to prevent you from threatening the 1 percenters position ruling over society. The worst part about it is they disguise their efforts as something that will benefit us.

Consider the push for $15/hour minimum wage. The very people who are paying the low wages are the ones lobbying the government to mandate higher minimum wages. Does anyone really think McDonalds has the working class best interests at heart? The real design of this increase is to eliminate competition from rising up to challenge their position. They know small restaurants will not be able to afford the increase, and will go out of business. Walk into a McDonalds and you will see evidence of just how much they really care about giving workers more money. Most McDonalds locations now have kiosks, eliminating the need for the workers they claim to be pushing the higher wages for. Its all a lie.

Take a deeper look at pretty much anything the government is pushing these days, and you will find the same sort of thing.
