Lowe's Dangled $13 Billion So Investors Didn't Look at Tepid Guidance | LOW Stock

After issuing tepid guidance for FY23, signaling that the spending boom for home improvement projects may be losing some steam, Lowe's (LOW) initially moved lower this morning. That knee-jerk reaction, though, was quickly subdued as investors turned their attention to a massive new $13.0 bln share repurchase program that LOW also announced. With over $7.0 bln remaining on its prior program, LOW now has total share repurchase authorization of about $20 bln, providing the company with ample firepower to boost its EPS.
