As 2022 approaches we see various national security crisis appearing to erupt around the globe, the American national security elite are steadily increasing the beat of war drums to defend the border of Ukraine while leaving our borders wide open to human traffickers, drug cartel terrorists, and other potential bad actors from all over the globe. Meanwhile, the Chinese Communists Peoples Liberation Army threatens our ally Taiwan nearly every day with incursions of their airspace by very large formations of combat aircraft and threatening allied Naval forces in the South China Sea. The question for today’s guest is the title, are we at a point where we must stand our ground with our allies or do we seek negotiated settlements? Are these adversaries like the Hitler and Mussolini Churchill and Halifax faced in 1940 when Halifax proposed seeking a negotiated peace with Germany as the British Expeditionary force was retreating to Dunkirk and France was falling? Today we will take a deep dive into these issues as many of us are telling the US government the USA has no interest in sacrificing young Americans for Ukraine’s border and a very weak Biden administration is comfortably numb by its close relationship with the Chinese Communist Party.
