X. Throne of Wisdom- mercy seat, Revelations. Jesus as Wisdom physically sat in the lap of Our Lady. She embodied a throne on whom our Lord sat. Many great religious pieces of Our Lord as King and Queen. Living embodiment of the tabernacle. Concrete thing is not the thing itself. Mary is the thing. They are a symbol of her.

XI. Mystical Rose Mary is the most beautiful flower ever seen in the mystical world. She was without spot or blemish, totally consecrated to the Lord and her life was as one of a sweet rose. Many mystics have commented on the scent of roses and visitations of Mary.

The most beautiful meditation on Our Lady as Rosa Mystica is found in the writings of Saint Brigid. “The rose,” Mary told Saint Brigid, “gives a fragrant odor; it is beautiful to the sight, and tender to the touch, and yet it grows among thorns, inimical to the beauty and tenderness. So may also those who are mild, patient, beautiful in virtue, be put to a test among adversaries. And as the thorn, on the other hand, guards, so do wicked surroundings protect the just against sin by demonstrating to them the destructiveness of sin.”

Perfect charity, do what our Lord asks. Imperfect love of Him, see the bad consequences and avoid the sin.

Modern rose thornless and scentless. True botanical rose naturally from the earth incredibly fragrant but cant pick it because of so many thorns. Made Mary demure geriatric woman. She has tenderness to her. But she is power against protectorous against evil. Bothe sweetest and protection. Justice in her.

XII. Tower of ivory

“There is never a crack in the ivory tower
Or a hinge to groan in the house of gold
Or a leaf of the rose in the wind to wither
And she grows young as the world grows old.
A Woman clothed with the sun returning
to clothe the sun when the sun is cold.” ~G.K. Chesterton, excerpt from The Towers of Time*

A tower is a structure that stands over other neighboring structures. Ivory is something pure and exquisite.

Fr. Newman makes this point:
“It is expressly noted of her that she stood by the Cross. She did not grovel in the dust, but stood upright to receive the blows, the stabs, which the long Passion of her Son inflicted upon her every moment.”

This expresses, with Scriptural back up, that Our Lady stood at the Cross. I have seen art that depicts Our Lady as kneeling at the Crucifixion. Such depictions are simply wrong, and (attempt to) destroy the idea of her, which Catholics have long held, as the Tower of Ivory. However, the truth prevails: our Mother is the Tower of Ivory, and she stood at the Cross.

She was, and is, noble in all of her actions.

Mothers have lost children before, not anymore than what we can expect. She surrendered Him earlier than proscribed, not yet my time. Our Lady heart salvation of her children stand and suffer earlier than needed.
