The Strain of Bigotry Which Tainted the Founders of Leftism Runs Through the Democatic Party Today

Marx's ugly racism toward blacks and Mexicans cannot be justified on the grounds he was anti-slavery, since opposing slavery is not inconsistent with regarding black and brown people as inferior. Nor can Marx be excused as a "man of his time," since many people of that time didn't share his racist beliefs.
