My goal of these wilderness trail videos is to 1) show reverence for the beauty of the land, and 2) give YOU actionable trail information that can assist you in planning your own hike here.

This was a day-hike in Oregon, Mount Hood National Forest, starting at Frog Lake Sno-Park Twin Lakes Trailhead and hiking an 8.5 mile loop with just under 1000 ft total elevation gain to Lower Twin Lake, circumnavigating Lower Twin Lake, Upper Twin Lake, and over to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) to complete the loop back to the Trailhead. Weather was a low of just below freezing and a high of 42, mildly to moderately windy, drizzles of rain and thick blankets of enveloping fog. This was hiked on 12/2/2021 and was surprisingly completely clear of snow and more reminiscent of a Summer hike as far as trail conditions, and there were NO Mosquitoes! As far as road conditions, it could not be more easy, paved roads all the way to the parking lot. In my opinion, the road most definitely DOES NOT require 4-Wheel Drive. As far as permits, the Frog Lake Sno-Park Twin Lakes Trailhead DOES NOT require a Recreation.gov permit.
