The Department of Defense holds a press briefing after the Pentagon decided it will not punish any personnel involved in an August drone strike that killed 10 Kabul civilians, the New York Times and Washington Post reported Monday, over a month after the military called the strike — conducted in the waning days of the 20-year-long U.S. war in Afghanistan — a “regrettable mistake.”
