Post Storm | Big Wave Surf 2021

We just had a rain-flooding-storm! As soon as its over we hit the waves and shred the gnar!
Do these big waves look scarier to you than normal? Some folks say not to surf after a storm because of what washes into the ocean. But if the conditions are right will that stop those that froth the most?
Shooting big wave tow-surfing is one of the riskiest types of filming I do. I have lost more than one drone to the ocean and there isn't any practical way to get them back. Even if I could get them back salt water pretty much destroys the electronics for good. That being said I have nearly five years of experience and get as close as I can without being swallowed into Davy Jones Locker.
