THE VICTORY MONUMENT

The Boer War Memorial, a monument to the heroes of the Boer War, is a Quebecois Victory Monument. It was erected in 1913 by Sir Henry Pellatt in memory of the members of the Canadian militia who died during the Second Anglo-Boer War.
