20211213 Bodily Autonomy - The Daily Summation

Can you imagine me making the argument that shooting or stabbing through myself with the "appropriate" weapon or tool, hitting someone behind me and killing them meant I was NOT culpable for their death?

Yet it's argued that removing a LIVING BABY from a mother's womb is NOT something for which there ought to be consequences.

The best part? The folks assenting to such an occurrence, are also arguing that vaccines should be mandatory!

You CANNOT have it both ways.

In fact, the logic is REVERSED. Arguing bodily autonomy for a pregnant woman, IS NOT THE SAME AS arguing it for forced medical procedure one someone who is or isn't pregnant.

In the one case, there are TWO human beings involved. In the other (the vaccine or other medical procedure), there's typically JUST THE ONE.

I talk about these ideas on today's edition of The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics. Hope you choose to listen in.
