Born Without Legs - But I Can Still Do Anything | BORN DIFFERENT

DESPITE being born without legs, Kanya Sesser lives life to the absolute extreme. Born in Thailand, Kanya was found at the side of the road by strangers aged just three months. She said: “They heard a baby crying, so they went to go and check it out with their flashlights and I was found naked, covered in debris and mosquito bites.” Adopted aged 5 by a family in the USA, Kanya grew up with an active lifestyle and started skateboarding aged 9, quickly becoming highly proficient and able to do handstands on her board. Kanya also learnt to embrace her physical appearance, saying: “I just call myself ‘no legs’, I just don’t got legs, I’m a half-woman. But I love how I am, so I love the fact I don’t have legs, it got me here.” Kanya, who today lives with her boyfriend Jeff in Texas, is also a fashion model and in 2021 she walked the runway at New York Fashion Week. She said: “My first approach about modelling was when I was 17. I feel like there’s a cool factor in me.” Modelling led to acting and she has since appeared in global hit shows like The Walking Dead and Hawaii Five-0. Kanya said: “A lot of people online really judge people but they don’t know their lifestyle or their story. Living life well is the best revenge.
