The Range Rover Velar has been updated for the 2021 model year bringing with it more equipment, an updated infotainment system and a more powerful diesel engine. The updated SUV is now priced from Rs 79.87 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and continues to be available solely in a R-Dynamic S trim level with deliveries of the 2021 model having already commenced.
The petrol engine meanwhile is the same 250hp, 2.0-litre turbocharged unit. Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard and all-wheel drive.The other notable mechanical change to the luxury SUV is the inclusion of air suspension which should help improve the SUV’s ride quality.Moving to the cabin, the Velar now comes with Jaguar Land Rover’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment system. Other new tech on offer includes a 360-degree camera.
