Psalms 1

Reading from Psalms 1.

Psalms 1:2-3 (KJV) - “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

The newly saved Christian should immerse himself in God’s word day and night (vs. 3, cf. Psa. 119:97-99; Josh. 1:8). The word of God is perfect (Psa. 19:7-8), Catholic Catechisms and Councils are not perfect.
