The left wing media pounced after Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro credited hydroxychloroquine for helping him beat the Chinese coronavirus.

The left wing media pounced after Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro credited hydroxychloroquine for helping him beat the Chinese coronavirus. Journalist Alexandre Garcia criticized his colleagues for parroting the same tired phrase that there is “no scientific evidence” hydroxychloroquine is effective as revealed in two videos exclusively translated by RAIR Foundation USA.

Bolsonaro, a retired military officer, was already compromised physically from being stabbed in the stomach on September 6, 2018 while he was campaigning for president by Adelio Bispo de Oliveira, a former member of the Marxist Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL).

“We know today there are other drugs that can be used to fight Coronavirus,” Bolsonaro said in the below video. “We know that none has scientifically proven effectiveness, but for one more person it is working. I trust in hydroxychloroquine,” he continued.

Like clockwork, the leftist media in Brazil and America became critical of Bolsonaro’s announcement, with some claiming that he is offering “false hope” with a medication that has not been proven to be effective. Brazilian journalist Alexandre Garcia has been heavily criticized by the left wing media for his comments critical of fellow journalists for ignoring the positive effects of hydroxychloroquine.

In the second RAIR exclusively-translated video below, Garcia made his comments during his debut appearance after recently being hired by CNN Brasil. Garcia pointed out that his fellow journalists continue to regurgitate the same phrase in every news report that Bolsonaro “showed the box of hydroxychloroquine, for which there is no scientific evidence.”

A frustrated Garcia observed that it appears that “…someone is ordering every reporter to say ’there is no scientific evidence.’”

But, as Garcia points out, “…all of our friends who have been treated early, they are all healed, they have all passed through COVID-19 in two, three days…” The truth is that many have been cured, Garcia notes. Continually claiming there is no evidence, when the evidence is clear to those cured is “stubbornness,” Garcia noted. “This is a bit of stubbornness that makes us [as journalists] lose credibility,” he said.

President Bolsonaros wife, Michelle, has evidently also contracted the coronavirus, and RAIR Foundation USA wishes them both a speedy recovery.
