Sermon Title: Lepers No More

Theme: Jesus cleanses sinners to make them presentable & serviceable to God.

1. Jesus cleanses a faithful leper & commands Him to obey Moses’ law. (12-14).

2. Jesus rests & prays so He can teach & cleanse many that come to Him. (15-16)

1. Explain how lepers were handled in the Old Testament?

2. What does Christ’s response to the leper’s pleas teach us?

3. Why is Christ able to touch lepers without becoming unclean?

4. Why does Jesus command the leper not to tell others about the miraculous healing?

5. Why must the healed leper still keep Moses’ law for cleansing even after Jesus has healed/cleansed him?

6. Why does Jesus go into the wilderness to pray? What does this teach us about how we should live and serve the Lord?

7. Explain how we are now the temple of God, and what that says about us before God and how we should live?
