This is a 30 mile, five day backpacking trip in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area. Starting on the Fairwood Valley Trail at Virginia Rt. 603, the loop then takes the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail to the Third Peak Trail over Third Peak to First Peak Trail over Second Peak, First Peak and then the Kabel Trail down to Little Wilson Creek. From there the trip climbs up Big Wilson Creek Trail to the Appalachian Trail, to Rhododendron Gap Trail, to the Crest Trail and then back on the VHHT to Cabin Ridge. The hike continues on the Cabin Ridge Trail to Brier Ridge then a bushwhack across the bald to the AT again. After a short distance southbound on the AT, I take the Mt. Rogers Trail to Lewis Fork Spur trail down to the Lewis Fork Trail to Pine Mountain Trail. And finally it's northwest on the Pine Mountain Trail to the AT and then north on the AT back to Virginia Rt. 603.

Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
