The Moto X 2nd generation is the current top of the line phone for budget mobile phone carrier Republic Wireless.

Republic is the the low cost WiFi and Cell "Hybrid Calling" technology company. They've been a disruptor in the industry to the degree that other carriers are taking notice - including Google who released a clone of their service recently called Google Fi.

You can currently get the Moto X 2nd Gen in black or white for the amazing price of $249 at Republic Wireless.

Some of the features people seem to like the most with this phone include the Touchless Control that allows you to do some common tasks without even picking the phone up (ask what the weather is, set a reminder, call someone), as well as low power notifications on the home screen. It also has better performance than it's predecessor the Moto X 1st Gen.

Here are some of the technical stats for all the tech nerds:

3G + 4G LTE Data
16GB/32GB Internal Memory
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™, quad-core processor.
Android™ Lollipop® 5.1
13MP Tap-to-Focus Camera
5.2" AMOLED Full HD Display
Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3
