The GLA continues to be powered solely by turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines for the 2022 model year.
The GLA200 is powered by a 1.3-litre turbo four-cylinder engine co-developed by Renault and Nissan that delivers 120kW of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder engine in the GLA250 4Matic produces 165kW and 350Nm. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic drives all four wheels.
