Europe To India Travel Restrictions in December 2021

Hi Everyone, Welcome to our YouTube channel. In this Video, we are sharing our experience of travelling from Europe to India in the month of December 2021. The date of Arrival in India was 4th December, so please keep in mind that these restrictions were applicable at that time.

Due to the raising concerns about the Omicron variant there are few strict restrictions implemented for international travelers.
This video is an attempt to help those travelers who have questions regarding the travel restrictions. The travel restrictions are being updated time to time and the countries identified as risk zone by Government of India keeps changing. Please stay updated to travel restrictions during this corona pandemic so that you don't need to face any difficulty. If you have questions for us, feel free to ask.

The complete travel experience is divided into 3 parts. The first is about documents to be carried before boarding on the flight to India. The second part is about how our Long layover at Doha went. It also has some tips for the travelers travelling by Qatar Airways.
The 3rd and the last part is about what happens after you land India. In our case, we landed to Mumbai International Airport.

Before we started our Journey, there were 12 countries identified as high risk areas, when we reached Mumbai airport in India, the number of high risk countries changed to 3. Different cities noticed few differences in restrictions.

Quick update: Once we reached India, we received a call from the local authorities to undergo Corona test.
Small request from our side: Please follow the rules and undergo home quarantine if you are asked to do so. Take care of your and your family's health.
