You're also going to want to rescue the merchant sly at the bottom bellow the Groz mother and unlock any switches, doors, and stag stations as you find them; some of them you'll need money for.

If you're having problems with Groz Mother telegraph the slam attack and just back up, and time your heals correctly.
Tusk Brutes you'll want to Hit back up, hit back up; until they do the wave attack which you'll reposte with a jump slash avoiding the wave.

Anyway if you're new to Hollow knight happy hunting, if you're interested it's been known to go on sale on Steam for $7 or less; usually around holidays.
