A Lesson on Morality: Jasnah and Kyle. There are many questions about the morality and circumstances regarding self defense and provocation, so with the Rittenhouse trial just ended, I wanted to take a look at an example of self defense in a novel, specifically The Lesson in the Way of Kings, where Jasnah gives Shallan a harsh but thought provoking moral conundrum.
