1999 Polaris Scrambler 400 4X4 Part 2. Brakes locked up! Master cylinder flush/clean

So testing the Scrambler out, I drove it for about 35 minutes and it felt like it was losing power, the brakes also felt tight. I slowed down and it stopped me immediately and the brakes were locked up. I let it cool down and drove it back to the garage thinking it might be a hung up caliper, but no, it was the master cylinder for the brakes! Glad I wasn't going 60MPH and have them lock on me. CONTAMINATED FLUID! I tried flushing the reservoir on the bike with new DOT3 fluid but it would not clear out the crap so I had to disassemble it and clean it out. I then bled all the lines to the calipers. Works like new again :). I recommend checking/ Changing your brake fluid on these older machines.

I love doing shit like this, picking up crap and making it run :). So if you are into the same thing, watch and follow, give me some pointers and maybe you can pick up some ideas as well!

I'm sure people have different routes of checking and repairing, this is the way I do things which might not necessarily be the correct way :)
