For To Us A Child Is Born - December 12, 2021

The prophet Isaiah announces that the day is coming when God will send a light to illuminate those who live in darkness. He is talking about the light of salvation that will break through the darkness of sin and set us free. This will be a time of rejoicing for those who are liberated. The coming light and joy will be accompanied by an end of war. All of this will happen because of the birth of a child. The child is a son who will be a gift to humanity. But this is no ordinary child. He is born a king with the responsibility of governing on his shoulders. Isaiah is talking about Jesus.
